Our special-date newspaper book is a reproduction of the full edition of the newspaper from any date you choose, taken from the archive and hand-bound by Kennys Bindery in Galway. For a retirement, the date that means most is often one of these:
- The day they started work. The paper from their first morning on the job, whether that was a bank in 1985, a classroom in 1990 or a building site in the seventies.
- The day they were born. A lovely choice when retirement lands near a 60th or 65th birthday.

If a weekly local paper didn’t print on your exact date, we use the next edition and still emboss the date you asked for.
